Technically melodic death metal in perfect, it not short, form. Definitely a step up from Revenant. This EP is incredibly intense and super heavy, but doesn't sacrifice any melody in order to obtain that heaviness. The soul-crushing weight is only enhanced by the tortured and epic melodies. An excellent EP indeed!
